No, I just love food. This time of year I always enjoy cooking. I seem to keep a mental list of all my favorite foods and require myself (subconsciously) to make them during the holidays. This is one I haven’t made yet, but I do believe it just may be next.
Poppy Seed & Ham Sandwiches
2 sticks butter or margarine, softened
3 tsp. poppy seeds (I use less)
1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
3 tbsp mustard
1/2 cup onion, minced (very optional)
2 pkg party rolls
1/2 lb sliced ham
1/2 cup swiss cheese
Combine first 5 ingredients. Slice entire package of rolls lengthwise, while in one piece. Spread mixture on both halves of rolls. Put ham on bottom half and top with cheese. Place top layer of rolls on ham & cheese. Wrap in foil.
Bake for 15 minutes in a 425º oven. Cool for a few minutes, then slice & serve.
